Continuous Residence in Spain
You must have remained in Spain continuously for at least two years prior to submitting the application. It is important not to hold the status of an international protection applicant at the time of application or during its processing.

No Threat to Public Order, Security or Public Health
This requirement ensures safe coexistence and compliance with current legal standards.

No Criminal Record and Not Listed as Inadmissible
You must not have a criminal record in Spain or in any country where you have lived during the five years prior to entering Spain, for offenses recognized under Spanish law. You must also not be listed as inadmissible in Spain or in countries with which Spain has agreements restricting entry.

Payment of the Application Fee
As with most administrative procedures, the application requires payment of the corresponding fee within the established deadline.

Valid Employment Contract
Whether you submit one or multiple contracts, they must guarantee at least the minimum wage established by law or by the applicable collective agreement, depending on working hours. The total working hours must represent at least 20 hours per week.

The employer must be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations and must have sufficient financial means to meet the commitments established in the employment contract.
